Jealousy Rank of the Cast of GIRLS

Disclaimer: We effing love GIRLS and wish the show and the people behind it all the success and happiness in the world. That said, we are blind with jealous rage whenever we see them doing anything because we are also girls who live in New York and have feelings and why can’t it be us?!?! Anyway. Behold our ranking of the cast of GIRLS, in order of jealousy.

4. Jemima Kirke

Jemima is totally awesome, but she also has a baby and another one on the way (congrats Jemima!). We’re not into child-rearing quite yet so while she’s a very special, enviable unicorn, we’re not THAT jealous… yet. Talk to us when we’re barren.

3. Zosia Mamet

Zosia’s on Mad Men and GIRLS, which is a very impressive, hip resume for someone so young. TOTALLY JEALOUS. However, one time we spotted her in the New York City wild and she seemed bummed out, so NOT TOO JEALOUS. And you just know people mispronounce her name all the time, probably annoying.

2. Lena Dunham

So talented. Just… SO TALENTED. How does one manage to be so smart and funny but also so humble and wise? She grew up in the city, so she’s hip but not in a cooler than thou way; remember when she told Jimmy Fallon she wrote fan fiction about him? He was weirded out, but we were like “What?? You too???” She’s confident and she should be! She has great games, she wears great shoes, her Halloween costume last year was Louis C.K. We just love her and want to borrow her brain for a hot sec.

1. Allison Williams

Do you even need to ask why? LOOK AT HER. Her real dad is Brian Williams! Her fake mom is going to be played by goddess Rita Wilson! She wears Oscar de la Renta to the Emmys and has eyebrows shaped by the hand of God himself. Her smile is so winning, her skin so clear, her arms so thin and toned! And it’s not just a looks thing, she’s consistently brilliant and compelling on GIRLS. She just seems so nice! And according to WWD (she was in WWD!!!) like she really plans things. We’re into planners. Allison, you live our dream life. Congrats.
