We know we can be facetious with this feature, but today we’re f$&@ing SRS. WE. LOVE. PAUL. FEIG. You’ve probably seen him recently on television — that sheepishly adorable, thoughtfully dressed, bespectacled man who’s always sitting with the Bridesmaids cast at award shows. BECAUSE HE DIRECTED IT. Yeah. He’s a genius. Did you know he created Freaks and Geeks, too? Of course you did. You didn’t? Kill yourself.

We saw him speak at an NYTimes event recently and we blushed. Then, we re-watched Heavyweights and were smitten- he’s skinny Tim! Then we remembered he was Mr. Poole on Sabrina — aka the show that defined middle school for Alex — and *swooned.* Then, we listened to his WTF with Marc Maron episode (you should, too) and now we are positively beside ourselves with adoration!!!

Basically, we belong together. Just from perusing his recent tweets, we know that Paul loves: Downton Abbey, Puppies, Compliments from Nice People, and Hummus. SRSLY LOVES ALL OF THOSE THINGS! Paul, if you’re reading this, we don’t even mind that you’ve been a devoted husband for 17 years. Honestly, it just makes us love you more.
